Towers Perrin study reveals only 14% of UK workers willing to go the extra mile

Only 14% of workers in the UK are "engaged" - while 44% are either disenchanted or disengaged, according to a new survey by professional services firm, Towers Perrin.

Flexibility is the key to staff retention

Small and medium sized-enterprises (SMEs) in the UK are struggling to hold onto their staff, according to recent research.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development's (CIPD's) annual Recruitment, Retention and Turnover Survey revealed that almost eight in ten firms struggled to retain staff last year – compared to nearly seven in ten the previous year.  read more »
